In this video I take my first voltage readings from my DIY solar panel. There are 10 .55V solar cells in series. In these lighting conditions, the panel produced a respectable 10.5V, only 1.5V short of the 12V goal. Under full light, I still expect to get 12V from this panel. Unfortunately, I was unable to fit 2 more cells into the casing, which would have ensured a full 12V from the panel. Hopefully, in better lighting conditions, I will achieve the full 12V so I can charge 12V systems.
