Who we are

STORERCAD is a print-first desktop CAD project presented through driverstorer.com. DriverStorer is the site’s historical identity and its preserved technology archive. References to “STORERCAD,” “DriverStorer,” “we,” or “us” in this policy refer to this website and project.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting infrastructure may record standard server-log information such as Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, requested page, referring page, date and time, and diagnostic or security events. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site.

Optional analytics

With your permission, the site loads Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and collect session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, pages viewed, and interactions. The site does not load its Google Analytics tag until you select “Accept analytics.” You may decline without losing site functionality and may reopen Cookie choices from the footer.

Cookies and local storage

Essential WordPress, security, and administrator features may use cookies when needed. The public site stores your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage so it can remember whether you accepted or declined optional analytics. If you submit a comment on preserved archive content, WordPress may offer convenience cookies for the name, email address, or website you provide.

Comments and information you submit

Some preserved DriverStorer articles may still permit comments. If you submit one, the site may collect the information entered in the comment form together with an IP address and browser user-agent string for spam detection and security. Comments may be screened by Akismet, an Automattic service. Do not publish sensitive personal information in comments.

Discord, MakerWorld, and external services

The site links to the official STORERCAD Discord community, the Storer Designs MakerWorld profile, hardware manufacturers, and other third-party services. When you follow an external link, that service receives information according to its own privacy policy. Discord currently provides the primary support channel. Request a private conversation before sharing project files or personal information.

Store and payment information

The STORERCAD store page does not currently collect payments. When purchasing becomes available through Steam or another storefront or payment processor, that provider will process payment credentials under its own policy. We may receive transaction, license, entitlement, or support information, but we do not intend to receive or store complete payment-card numbers on driverstorer.com.

CAD files and generated models

Visiting this website does not upload your STORERCAD projects, STDxf workspaces, STL files, 3MF files, or generated models to us. If you voluntarily provide a file for support through a third-party service, we use it to investigate the request and improve the software, subject to any additional terms provided at that time.

How information is used
