What is an Ethernet controller?
On my other computer I’m getting an error message that I’m missing my Ethernet controller drivers, and I can’t connect to the internet.

The Ethernet controller is the device inside your computer that controls how internet traffic is sent and received to and from your computer. The Ethernet controller is the device you connect the CAT5 cable to in the back of your PC. Wireless Ethernet controllers work in the same way, but wireless Ethernet controllers transmit the Internet’s signal over a wireless network to and from your router.
