Gopro Test 1:  Basic underwater shots

In this video, we took the Gopro Hero2 camera to get a few quick shots of our breeding pond. Towards the end of the video, a newly released pike snatches one of the minnows after pushing it towards the surface of the water. This was filmed in the late to mid afternoon, while the sun was not directly overhead.

As it starts to get warmer outside, we’ll be coming back to you with more Gopro Hero2 underwater and fishing footage from various locations in north eastern Pennsylvania. Eventually we hope to become better masters of editing the Hero2 footage. But for now, the unexpected pike attack was a nice treat considering we were only trying to get some basic shots of the shiner colony.
