In this video, I briefly solder the bus wire connections for the solar panel. Bus wires are significant thicker than normal tabbing wire, and should always be used when connecting between strips of solar panels. The bus wires are designed to handle more current and voltage to prevent overloading. I used a significant amount of rosin core solder to ensure a solid connection to the tabbing wire. I also left plenty of length on the buss wire so I can easily jump to the next row of solar cells. When all is said and done, there will be two lengths of bus wire leading from the positive and negative sides of the solar cells. From these two leads I may make some kind of junction box, with voltage regulators for charging different small devices, but I will probably opt for temporary alligator leads until I come up with a solid schematic for the junction box.
