Other notes we discovered while testing the Primos Truth Cam 60 trail cam/game cam:
Rechargeable batteries don’t seem to work well with the the Primos Truth Cam 60 because they have lower max possible output voltages. Lower voltages drastically reduce the effective range of the Primos Truth Cam 60 sensors. This effect is compounded by the cold. In colder weather, make sure to use good quality full 1.5V D call batteries or purchase a 6V adapter for continuous power.
There is an audible “click” when the camera starts taking pictures or recording videos. In a situation where there is absolute silence(no ambient noise), the “click” may be audible to a thief under the right circumstances. However, any cunning individual will find a way to properly set up, insulate, and hide it if the need arises. I do not believe that the “click” is bothersome enough to scare game.
